Organic Litchi Trees, Mango Trees, Arabica Coffee Trees and many more!
How exciting that we can grow sub-tropical fruit trees in Gauteng.
When you buy a fruit tree from us you can be assured that the root system is established and you are purchasing a healthy plant.
It is advisable to plant in the correct atmosphere which would include a position in full sun, sandy soil (with an abundance of organic matter), and good soil drainage and aeration, and also important is protection from strong wind.
Easy growers are papaya, avocado, pomegranate, fig, and guava. After your purchase we will send you growing info on your chosen trees to ensure they get the right start.
We do recommend using a frost cover during their first 2 years after planting.
Pecan nut and Almond nut trees need to cross pollinate, therefore we supply 2 varieties of each. To make the purchase of 2 trees affordable we offer a small one year old tree and a larger 2 – 3 year old.
Plant your nut trees around 6-9 metres apart – they are really big trees.
Almond trees can provide you with a yearly harvest of nuts for up to 50 years once they start, which is usually by the age of five years
Walnuts & Macadamia nut trees are self pollinating, so only one tree is required.
Kiwi Fruit grows on a vine and require a male and female tree to cross pollinate. We sell them in twos, to ensure they will fruit, however you can have 7 females to one male, as only the females fruit.
Kiwi vines require a strong support system and lots of room to grow. They can grow up to 30 feet long and become extremely heavy.
It’s important to prune kiwi vines to keep the shape tidy and for fruit production. They do enjoy at least one month of cold weather. They will grow well in Gauteng & Free State etc.
